Berkeley Springs Fall Birding Festival

An Annual Event for Birders

The Berkeley Springs Fall Birding Festival is an annual event on the third weekend of September. The festival draws beginning and experienced birders to the area for guided bird walks, demonstrations, and evening speakers. The Potomac Valley Audubon Society is the festival sponsor, and local volunteers provide the promotion and programming for the event. Information headquarters is The Nature Niche store in Berkeley Springs. The Ice House is the official headquarters and event site during the festival weekend.

Saturday Evening program at the Ice House features Owl and Raptor expert Steve Huy whose current project  SNOWSTORM tracks the visits of Snowy Owls to our region.
